The Abraham Accord & Why Jesus is not the Jewish Messiah - Ephraim Answer #1 to "Jews for Judaism"

As we move into Sukkoth 5782 of a 73 year young modern state of Israel and a 54 year restored Jerusalem, we can look back on a 4.000 year long history since Abraham and now 2021 years of a Roman-Catholic calendar based on the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 2. Peter 3.8

It should be noted, that the Pope is the "Representative of Christ", who stays on this position, until the real Messiah comes, who has to fulfil not only the Jewish expectation, but the Christian expectation also.

Jews for Judaism argues: The concept of the Messiah has its foundation in our Jewish Bible, the Tanach, which teaches that all of the following criteria must be fulfilled before any person can be acknowledged as the Messiah.

Reason #1 – The Messiah must be from the Tribe of Judah and a Descendant of King David AND King Solomon – Jesus did not qualify.

The Messiah must be a member of the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49:10) and a direct descendant of King David & King Solomon (2 Samuel 7:12-14; 1 Chronicles 22:9-10).

Genealogy in the Bible is only passed down from father to son (Numbers 1:1-18).

There is no evidence that Jesus really had this pedigree, and the Christian Bible actually claims that he did not have a “birth-father” from the tribe of Judah descending from King David and King Solomon (Matt. 1:18-20).

Answer #1 the Shilo is not from Judah, but Joseph and the tribe of Ephraim

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Genesis 49.10

In Genesis 48, Israel hands over his blessings he received from his fathers Abraham and Isaac to the two sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasse, whereas Ephraim is adopted into the position as firstborn heir instead of Reuben.

Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father' bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright. For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph' ) 1 Chronicles 5.1-2

In various versions "Shilo" is translated as "to whom it belongs", referring to the inheritance of Abraham.

I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you. Genesis 17.7

As we see in the argument of Jews for Judaism, Matthew 1.18-20 is used to make the point, that Jesus did not have a physical father and thus could not be from the tribe of Judah. Without going into detail about the alleged virgin birth, we find that Jesus father is Joseph and his grandfather Jacob. In the Tanach, only Ephraim and Manasse had a father called Joseph and a grandfather called Jacob. And only the tribal leader of Ephraim was called Yehoshua, Josua in English, or Jesus in Greek.

And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ. Matthew 1.16

At the time of Jesus, Ephraim and the people of Israel, were already cut-off as a people for some 750 years, which is reported in Isaiah 7.

The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is only Remaliah’s son. If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all. Isaiah 7.9

Mathew 1.23 refers to the Immanuel from Isaiah 7.14 and it is talking directly to the House of David.

Then Isaiah said, “Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of humans? Will you try the patience of my God also? Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin [or young woman] will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. Isaiah 7.13-14

While it is obvious, that the Jewish people as a people do not believe in Jesus, there is no doubt about it, that Jesus was the only "sign" over the course of the last 2000 years, countless millions of people are still talking about.

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion. Isaiah 8.18

It is a matter of fact, that Mount Zion came back into the hands of the Jewish people 1967, 1897 years after the Roman destruction of the second Temple.

But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel. Micah 5.2-3

Bethlehem Ephratah is the place Rachel died with the birth of Benjamin, Jacob himself refers to in Genesis 48.

And as for me, when I came from Padan, Rachel died by me in the land of Canaan in the way, when yet there was but a little way to come unto Ephrath: and I buried her there in the way of Ephrath; the same is Bethlehem. And Israel beheld Joseph' sons, and said, Who are these? Genesis 48.7-8

Already Jesus raised the question on "Whose son is the messiah?"

While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”The son of David,” they replied. He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, “ ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.” ’If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?”No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. Matthew 22.41-46

When we take a close look at the reference in Matthew 2, we find references to Ephraim only.

And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. Matthew 2.15
In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. Matthew 2.18

Matthew 2.15 references Hosea 11.1

When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt. As they called them, so they went from them: they sacrificed unto Baalim, and burned incense to graven images. I taught Ephraim also to go, taking them by their arms; but they knew not that I healed them. Hosea 11.1-3

Matthew 2.18 references Jeremiah 31.15, whereas in Jeremiah 31.9 God clearly defines Ephraim as his firstborn son.

for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. Jeremiah 31.9 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. Jeremiah 31.15 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus ; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke : turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God. Jeremiah 31.18

Since Jesus is considered the firstborn from the dead, we have to take a close look at Ezekiel 37, which speaks about the resurrection of the dead.

And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves, And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it , and performed it , saith the LORD. Ezekiel 37.13-14

The question if the Messiah is coming though the clouds, or on a donkey is widely discussed by Jews and Christians alike, but many forget that the spirit of God, the Ruach HaKodesh "coming from above" is already the most miraculous gift anybody can receive.

Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. Ezekiel 37.16

Within the reasons of Jews for Judaism of why Jesus cannot be the messiah of today, one significant reason is missing. The Messiah has to be alive and has to have a track record in Jerusalem.

Since the Jewish people clearly point out, that Jesus didn't fulfil some of the most significant prophecies in the Tanach, Christians argue that Jesus will fulfil these prophecies with his "second coming", which raises the questions "HOW?"

Micah 5 and Isaiah 9 clearly states, that the ruler over all Israel has to be born first, an idea you find in the NT also, especially in the letter to the Hebrews.

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. Hebrews 1.6

Somehow the Ezekiel 37 mentioned spirit of resurrection has to enter the firstborn, what Judaism calls "the Messianic Light" a theme explained by Jesus in John 3.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3.5-6

Paul, who is considered an apostate to Judaism, elaborates on this idea in 1. Corinthians 15

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah's at his coming. 1 C. 21-23

Since the Pope just recently (11.8.2021) caused an uproar in the Jewish community by declaring that the Torah cannot give life, which was interpreted, that the Torah is invalid, referring to Galatians 3, we should take a close look, at what is actually written.

But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Galatians 4.4-5

While it is still a question at what point in time the Jewish people and the Catholic Church started to work together (at least in the background), it is a historical fact, that after the second Vatican Council, which includes the paper "Nostra Aetate" (In Our Time) the birthday of the firstborn was regulated as Eucharisticum Mysterium on Passah Sheni 25.5.1967, 21 days before the historical Shavuot, the Feast of the Firstfruits, when the Jewish people were able to celebrate their first Shavuot in a reunited Jerusalem after 1897 years.

The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say “and to seeds,” meaning many people, but “and to your seed,” meaning one person, who is Christ (The Messiah). What I mean is this: The law, introduced 430 years later, does not set aside the covenant previously established by God and thus do away with the promise. For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise. Galatians 3.16-18

Shavuot is traditionally the birthday and day of death of King David.

Due to the phenomena of the Metonic Cycle, within the Roman Calendar, every 19 years, the 25th of May equals the 6/7 Sivan. The last time 25.5.2015, when Pentecost and Shavuot fell on the same day.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God,I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: Acts 2.17-20, taken from Joel 3

While Acts 1 reports on the departure of Jesus on the 40th day of his resurrection, Acts 2 explains how the spirit of the resurrection enters 3000 people on the 50th day, which is Shavuot.

Daniel 4 sees a "tree in the middle of the earth" who is cut-off from the land of the living for a period of 7 years.

In our time, the infallible Pope declared the 25.5.1967 the birthday of the firstborn and comes to Jerusalem on 25.5.2014, which is 40 + 7 years. 25.5.2015 is the birthday of King David and the prophecy of Joel 3 is fulfilled to the dot.

Besides the Blood Moon tetrad on Passah and Sukkoth 2014/2015, a sun eclipse could be observed on 20.3.2015 and on 25.5.2015 the volcano Wolf erupts after 33 years of inactivity, painting the full picture of "Blood, fire and vapour of smoke".

According to Isaiah 7.14 the Immanuel is a sign According to Isaiah 8.18 the Immanuel and his children are a sign According to Joel 3 the Sun Eclipse, Blood Moons and a volcano eruption is a sign.

The heavenly signs are the "birthmark" of Joseph.

Sun, Moon and 11 stars are bowing down to me. Genesis 37.9

The children of the Immanuel, are the children of Ephraim, who already came "on a donkey", but left Jerusalem with 40.

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
